About Us

Where We Started

Richter’s was founded in 1985 by owners Al and Kim Richter. They started from humble beginnings, operating out of their duplex in Souderton, PA. Originally a drafting and blueprinting company, Richter’s started an office supplies division to accommodate the needs of their growing customer base. Richter’s now operates from a 10,000 square foot facility right behind the house where it all began.

In December of 2020 we rebranded from Richter Drafting & Office Supply to Richter Total Office. We made this change because it better represents the breadth of products and services we provide. We still sell those hard-to-find drafting and engineering supplies nationwide, but we do so much more now than we did in 1985. We are the region’s largest stocking dealer of wide-format paper, and are the go-to local reseller of wide format printers. We sell over 25,000 office products with free, next-day delivery and free pick-up of returns. We create vivid, eye-catching promotional products and custom printing. We started a Mobile Shredding Division in 2007 and have recently acquired another shred truck. We sell drones and even provide Hosted Cloud IT services.

In December of 2020, we also started our furniture division, Richter Office Interiors! We are proud of this division and all we have accomplished. We are able to see every furniture project through from concept to completion. Thanks to our visionary designers, incredibly broad product line, and first-class installation crew, we take all of the hard work out of the equation and give you a simple, turnkey solution.
